Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was in for a pleasant surprise last month when she was the only Indian actress to feature on Forbes list of highest-paid actresses in the world. The star, who is making her Hollywood debut in the upcoming action flick ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’, featured on the 10th spot with a gross earnings of $10 million. Deepika beat her fellow contemporaries like Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma to make it to the coveted list. At a recent ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ event, actress Katrina Kaif was asked about her views on the same, to which the actress just brushed it off saying she wasn’t aware of it. In a recent interview, Katrina was happy that stars like Deepika and Priyanka were venturing into foreign territory. She also assured her fans that she would not be going anywhere, as ‘her competition in Bollywood had become really less’.
Katrina Kaif's previous two movies - 'Phantom' and 'Fitoor' did not fare well at the box office. In a recent interview, when asked if her upcoming release 'Baar Baar Dekho' will break the jinx, the stunning actress replied by saying that she doesn't feel it's a jinx. She said that she did not give her 100 per cent concentration to both those films as her priorities were slightly different at that point. Kat added that her focus was not 100 per cent like it should have been on a film set. The beauty said that if a person takes things for granted or takes it easy, it will always show and the film will suffer. She concluded by saying that she knows she could have done better.
